چکیده

Nowadays, the high penetration of renewable energy sources (RESs) with non-uniformly distributed patterns has created unprecedented challenges for regional power systems to maintain system flexibility and reliability. These technical obligate operators curtail part produced at various scheduling intervals. Motivated by these challenges, grid-connected hubs are seen as a way forward boost flexibility, decrease rate curtailment, increase efficiency. However, simplified models may significantly affect performance in practice. Hence, this paper proposes holistic structure determine optimal coordinated operation relying on wind power. In regard, fundamental that have not yet been addressed an integrated manner, including CO2 emission amount curtailed along total operating costs system, among main objectives optimization problem. The proposed is developed form tractable mixed-integer nonlinear programming (MINLP) problem handle day-ahead security-constrained unit commitment (SCUC). information-gap decision theory (IGDT)-based robust model used accurate modeling uncertainty. characteristics IGDT-based SCUC its benefits investigated through several case studies conducted modified 6-bus 24-bus test systems. simulation results validate effectiveness feasibility structure. According obtained networked can help operator reduce cost, curtailment cost 16.62%, 100%, 30.44%, respectively, utilizing up-to-date conversion facilities storage well managing demands. It be strategy very effective step towards achieving 100% system.

Optimal Operation of Doubly-fed Induction Generator used in a Grid-Connected Wind Power System

In this paper, a wind power system based on a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) is modeled and simulated. To guarantee high-performance control of the powers injected into the grid by the wind turbine, five intelligent super-twisting sliding mode controllers (STSMC) are used to eliminate the active power and current ripples of the DFIG. The STSMC controller is a high-order sliding mode cont...
